Held every 3 years since 1980, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to be encouraged in their walk with Jesus Christ and learn about the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.
The Gathering is more than the five days of the event. The preparation process for the Gathering brings together young people and supportive adults to encourage each other in their baptismal identity. The Gathering provides young people a vision for the vastness of Christ’s Church and equips them for vocational service as they continue their walk with Jesus.
Camp LuWiSoMo is a Christian camp located on the shores of beautiful Round Lake, just 5 miles east of Wild Rose, Wisconsin. They are a Registered Service Organization of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, providing a beautiful and peaceful environment to enjoy God’s creation and grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Higher Things is unique because its primary goal is to deliver the Gospel to young people without either “dumbing down” our doctrine and theology or relying heavily on entertainment to keep their attention. Higher Things® doesn’t seek to manufacture a “wow” factor. Their goal is simply to deliver Christ and Him crucified to young people. They are intentionally catechetical in nature and unashamedly committed to centering their activities around Christ Jesus as He comes to us in His Word and Sacrament.
