Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees consists of

Board of Trustees - Constitutional Duties

This board shall consist of three (3) members elected by the Voters' Assembly. Term of office shall be three (3) years, with one trustee elected each year.  

1. The Board of Trustees shall organize annually by January 1 and choose a chairperson who shall represent them on the Church Council and report for them to the Voters' Assemblies; the chairperson shall direct and coordinate the activities throughout the year. 

2.   The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for keeping the church buildings and properties in excellent physical, functional order. 

3.  The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for all janitorial service that is needed. 

4.   The Board of Trustees shall be authorized to make expenditures up to $50 for each item of supplies and/or repairs. Such expenditures are to be ratified at the following Voters' Assembly meeting. 

5. The Board of Trustees shall represent the Congregation in all legal matters as directed by the Voters' Assembly and authorized by the Constitution. 

6. The Board of Trustees shall see to it that the property is protected against loss and damage and give a report each year on the insurance policies of the congregation in the September meeting. 

7. The Board of Trustees shall see to it that the deeds and other valuable papers of the congregation are kept securely. 

8. The Board of Trustees shall establish and administer rules for the use of church equipment and premises. Such rules are subject to ratification by the Voters' Assembly.

9. The Board of Trustees shall annually review the salary scale and make recommendations to the Voters' Assembly. 

10. The Board of Trustees shall examine all properties annually and prepare and present annual reports to the Congregation on the property valuation and the condition of the same, together with any recommendations for major repair. 

11. The Board of Trustees shall hold regular meetings as often as advisable.
